Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • ⅓ cup neutral oil
  • ¼ cup real sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 5 cups soft, safely cut fruit
  • No nuts or nut products

Do not add nuts, nut butter, seeds, or unapproved mix-ins. Use dairy-free ingredients if any optional additions are introduced.

Preparation

Mix oats, oil, sweetener, cinnamon, and vanilla. Bake on a lined pan at 300°F, stirring as needed, until lightly golden. Cool completely and serve a small portion with ½ cup fruit.

Toddler and infant guidance

Granola can be a choking risk. Serve a softened, age-appropriate texture to toddlers. Do not serve hard granola to infants; use another approved snack from the feeding plan.
